About the Author
Dennis Kavanagh is professor of political science at the University of Nottingham in England. He is the author of Thatcherism and British Politics: The End of Consensus Politics? (2nd ed., 1990) and the coauthor (with David Butler) of The British General Election of 1992 (1992), as well as the coeditor (with Anthony Selden) of The Major Effect (1994).
