Liang Heng

Liang Heng, who emigrated to the United States in 1980, is founder and editor of The Chinese Intellectual, a quarterly journal originally intended for Chinese students studying in the West but widely distributed within China prior to the June 1989 crackdown. He is the coauthor of a number of books on China, including Son of the Revolution (1983), After the Nightmare (1986), and Cold Winds, Warm Winds: Intellectual Life in China Today (1986).
