Jeffrey Herbst is assistant professor of politics and international affairs at Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School of Government. The author of State Politics in Zimbabwe (1990), he is currently doing research on economic reform in Ghana with the help of a Robert McNamara Fellowship from the World Bank.
